World Cup 2010 South Africa: views from London
By Emma Nilsson and Aoife Yourell
After a week of World Cup craziness, everyone is now familiar with vuvuzelas, dodgy refereeing, and the fact that South Africa has been a pretty good host.
Back here in London, internationals have been having a ball watching the matches and supporting their home teams as the first round of the competition ends.
Here at The First Pint, we are all enthusiasts for the beautiful game. So, we rounded up a couple of internationals and an Englishman to see what they had to say about their own countries and how they were going to enjoy the World Cup.
The panel of wishful thinkers are as follows:
Marco Granese – Italy
David McCardie – England
Julian Perreira – Brazil
May the best team win!
