Spleen United: special ticket price for First Pint readers
Danish band Spleen United, fresh off sharing a Berlin Festival stage with LCD Soundsystem, will be playing at Proud Camden on 29 September. We’ve secured our readers an EXCLUSIVE DISCOUNT for this event!
Why should I go?
Spleen United has long been making waves in its native country, with two gold selling albums and a pile of Danish music awards to show for it. In 10 days from now, the five-piece electro-rock band will have their London debut show, armed with punchy beats and analogue synthesisers. The Electric Garden event also features Engine-Earz experiment, Alicia Wolfe and She is Danger. DJ SJ Andrews will be spinning tracks between the sets and there will be visuals by Midnightcrow.
What can I expect?
Spleen United’s music sounds like a hybrid of Underworld, Daft Punk and Prodigy. Their new single, the almost 7-minute long Sunset to Sunset, is a mix of a 24-hour long improvised set that the band played, literally from sunset to sunset, in a deserted area of Sydhavn in Copenhagen. If you crack the puzzle on their website, you can stream the full 24 hours or download the shorter mix for free.
So give me the discount you were talking about!
Right, then. Because we think you’ll like this, we got the people behind Spleen United to give our readers an exclusive price on the ticket:
Click on our exclusive ticket link, and you’ll pay a mere £4, as opposed to the £7.50 they will charge you at the door. It also saves you having to wait in a long queue with the £7.50-paying crowd, so you can concentrate on rocking along to the beats and meeting like-minded party-goers.
If you don’t fancy paying online, we can put you on the exclusive First Pint guest list, which will see you part with £5 at the door and leave the full-price payers wondering what you did to get special treatment. Go on, you deserve it.
