As the festive season approaches, we here at The First Pint, are gearing up for it with arms outstretched and party hats, firmly on. In fact, we have multiple reasons to celebrate right now, including our first year anniversary and the relaunch of our website. So to mark the occasion(s) we intend to throw the mother of all shindigs….and you’re all invited!
On Friday 3 December, together with ARtCH Gallery in Bethnal Green, we will be hosting a Scandinavian-themed night (the first of many region-focused events to come).
We’ll kick off the evening with some free beer sampling. Sourced from seven small Danish microbreweries, these special brews are less Carlsberg, more Trappist monks. If beer’s not your tipple, there’s a fully-stocked bar where you’re sure to find your beverage of choice.
Of course, the party wouldn’t be complete without food and we’ll have plenty of Scandi-flavoured culinary treats to sample too.
So come down, meet some Nordic artists and performers, taste some unknown delicacies and get cosy with beer, hot spirits, blankets, live jazz and perhaps an old Scandinavian verse or two. After the performances, our DJs will keep the music going till midnight. Sound like a plan?
